Dr Charmayne Highfield

Dr Charmayne Highfield has over 30 years’ experience as a business manager including over 15 years of hands-on experience in curriculum and assessment development in Australia and Singapore (at the tertiary level). In 2013, Charmayne was awarded her PhD from Charles Sturt University for investigating how Australian accountants perceive fairness in the workplace (organisational justice). In addition to promoting excellence in accounting education, her current research interests include ethics, human capital, organisation value creation, the social sciences and the future economy.

Professionally, Charmayne is a Fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and CPA Australia, as well as an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Managers & Leaders, and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Management and Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand.

Ms Claire Elizabeth Bell

Ms Bell is a professional educator with over twenty years of teaching experience, with a proven track record in management, special educational needs, secondary education and primary teaching. Her chosen profession has allowed her to hone her teaching skills on a global scale, with several of these years working in the northern region of Iraq, as an executive principle of a British International school. In central Thailand as an Educational Consultant and more recently as a Head of Schools for the Tenby International Schools group in Malaysia.

Mr Zhao Zong-Pei

Mr Zhao is currently the General Manager/Principal of SAA. Prior to coming to Singapore, he was (and still is) a practising New Zealand lawyer specialised in, inter alia, education law, and a member of the Board of Trustees in a primary school in New Zealand. Outside his lawyering career, he was also appointed as principal in a private tertiary institution in Auckland, New Zealand, with courses at both tertiary and senior secondary level, and served that position for about one year.

Mr Zhao was formerly a Lead Evaluator and in-house counsel of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority – the regulator for private tertiary education institutes in New Zealand. During the period he served NZQA, he led the external evaluation and reviews of over 60 private training establishments and polytechnics.
