Entry Points for FIA
The flexibility of FIA gives students a wide choice about the level of programme at which you could register. It is important that you pick the right qualification to maximise your chances of success.

Making an inappropriate choice of entry results in you taking unsuitable qualifications, attaining low pass rates, taking a longer time to complete the qualifications and hence eventually paying more for exam fees. Students with no academic qualification or understanding of accountancy will find it very difficult to succeed at the Diploma level.

For local students, we strongly encourage those without prior qualifications or experience to begin at Certificate level.

For international students, you are required to register for the full CAT programme from Introductory Certificate, with the option to progress to ACCA after completion of Diploma. Only international students with relevant academic qualifications in Accountancy may enter at Intermediate Certificate or Diploma level.

Intakes
The Intakes for the FIA/CAT programmes are January, March, July and September.
