About Bryan Cheang
Bryan Cheang is a Political Science and History (Double Major) graduate from National University of Singapore where he also achieved the Straits Steamship Award for Best Student in Political Science and History. He also holds a Masters in Political Economy from King’s College London, where he is also pursuing his doctoral research as a PhD candidate. Bryan’s academic interests are in the areas of philosophy, politics and economics (PPE), specifically on the political economy of development and applied economic policy.
Bryan also has previous experience in the Singapore civil service where he worked on human capital solutions for small-medium enterprises.
Bryan has 8 years or private teaching experience and also conducts economics and public policy learning opportunities in his non-profit the Adam Smith Center, Singapore. As part of his desire for producing thought leadership, he has also published commentaries on a number of topics on local platforms like Channel Newsasia and Singapore Business Review, as well as overseas ones like CAPx and Foundation for Economic Education.
