About Mohamed Nageb Bin Mohamed Rafiq (Part-time)

Nageb started his career in the banking industry assisting the sub-manager in strategic and operational issues. Later he moved into education. After a brief period of lecturing Nageb was promoted to Head of Business Studies managing about 30 faculty members and 2000 students. As Head, he introduced many new programmes that were required by the industries. He was heavily involved in running of the department and co-ordinated extensively with top management in implementing strategic directions. Later Mr Nageb was promoted as Director. In this strategic position Nageb ventured into regional countries such as China, India, Indonesia, Cambodia and Malaysia. Nageb has extensive managerial business experience which he shares with his students in his lectures. Nageb has about 40 years of lecturing experience. Nageb has been lecturing the ACCA course for the past 35 years.
He also lectures the University of London, B.Sc. programme, since 1991. He has lectured for RMIT University, Southern Cross University, University of Bradford, University of Murdoch and the University of Strathcylde. Apart from the undergraduate programmes, Nageb also lectured at the master’s level. He has been appointed examiner and marker. Nageb is an approved Mentor/Supervisor for the Oxford Brookes University (OBU) programme. He has worked for about a year as an executive secretary.
Nageb has conducted in-house and public seminar courses in communications, supervisory and selling skills. Most importantly Nageb instils in his students through his lectures the required leadership and managerial skills that are necessary for leaders of today as well as for tomorrow. Students find attending his lectures a fun and joyful experience. Mr Nageb studied in the UK and is a graduate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Nageb also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Strathclyde, UK.
